How to Calculate SGPA
SGPA (Semester Grade Point Average) is calculated by taking the weighted average of your grade points. The formula is:
SGPA = Σ(Grade Points × Credits) / Σ(Total Credits)
Our engine automates this by converting your marks (CIE + SEE/2) into grade points based on your university's specific 10-point scale.
Internal vs External: In most engineering systems, CIE (Continuous Internal Evaluation) is out of 50, and SEE (Semester End Exam) is out of 100. The final marks are CIE + (SEE / 2).
