Origin story

The spreadsheet that broke at 2am

It was the night before a semester final. A third-year engineering student was trying to figure out exactly how many marks they needed in tomorrow's exam to stay above 8.5 CGPA. The Excel sheet kept giving different answers. At 2am, they gave up and slept — not knowing if they were about to study the right things or not.

That student built the first version of GRADEO the following weekend. No fancy UI. Just a form that asked for internal marks, credits, and a target CGPA — and spat back the exact minimum score needed per subject.

The script was shared in a WhatsApp group. Within two weeks, it had been forwarded to five other colleges. The rest is GRADEO.

No sign-in. No ads. No data selling. Engineering students shouldn't have to pay — or deal with distractions — just to plan their grades.
